          SUB: why plastic carry bags should be banned

sir,

Through your esteemed daily I would like to state the reasons why plastic carry bags should be banned. Plastic carry bags are used in large scale.Though it has became an essential part of our daily life, yet these plastic bags which are non biodegradable chalk the sewerage system and cause water logging during rainy season. The plastic carry bags ultimately get deposited into the drain and block the outlet which cause drain overflowing which in turn pollutes the land and water bodies. Therefore plastic carry bags must be banned to save our mother earth. Jute bags and paper bags can act as substitutes for plastic carry bags. 

Therefore, through the columns of your esteemed daily I I request the concerned authorities to take necessary and immediate action.
